Finally the medicine for COVID 19 HAS BEEN launched and now available in the market

In the context of various claims of being developed medicine for SARS COV2 pandemic , Yesterday glen mark pharmaceuticals has launched the first ever medicine for the treatment of COVID19 patients it is named as “favipiravir”. In India it will be sold as brand name ‘Fabiflu ‘. It will cost 3500 INR for 34 tablets the course will be of 18 tablets and the treatment will last for 14 days.

This is specifically developed for mild patients and may not show similar effects of sever ones, but it is now viewed with lot of hopes by medical practitioners
